The sweet tones of this classic instrument are beautifully reproduced using our Model "D" Pickup System. Unlike other pickups, nothing directly attaches to the cone which can dampen the sound. In fact, the intregrity of the instrument is not compromised in any way by this installation. The original tone of the instrument is free to shine.

Note: Our Model "D" pickups sound best with National Guitar Spiders. These vibrant, tonally rich Spiders can be purchased from Highlander along with the pickup.

The maple biscuit that contains the pickup is attached to the center of the underside of the spider with epoxy, which is included with the pickup.
