PIANO LESSONS FROM SCRATCH
We have developed a unique teaching method of learning the piano from scratch, which enables you to perform at the school’s recital in only a couple of months! At the first trial lesson you will play your first composition!

3.Jazz Piano.
Classical piano courses are the foundation, the basic foundation that everyone needs to master.
Improvisation is the art of creating music on the fly, without relying on sheet music or memorized piece of music. It may seem complicated, but in reality it is quite simple. You need to develop your instrument technique. Nothing will work without it, so don’t be lazy to play scales, arpeggios, exercises and etudes every day. This is both enjoyable and useful. There are harmonic, melodic and rhythmic ways of working with a melody.
Jazz piano or jazz improvisation for piano
The musical language of jazz was originally characterized by improvisation, polyrhythm based on syncopated rhythms, and a unique set of techniques for performing rhythmic textures – swing. We can refer to jazz music as pop music. In your jazz piano lessons you will learn exercises after which you will have no trouble playing jazz compositions.
Improvisation and arranging music (especially in jazz) are very closely related. Both can give an impetus to the musical development of children and adults, with results on sheet music (arranging) and in performance (improvising).
Lessons at HigLand School of Music include a comprehensive method of piano instruction, in which students explore all components of the art of music in their interconnectedness.
Piano instruction program
You can start at any age and level – even if you’ve never touched an instrument and don’t know the notes, from the very first lessons you’ll be able to play simple melodies, and after several lessons you’ll play simple pieces with both hands. We have developed special programs aimed at the fastest and highest quality results; we combine both the traditional approach to learning and the latest techniques. The programme is tailor-made for each student in accordance with the student’s aims and preferences.
Learning to play the piano is possible at any age – it all depends on your inner motivation.
Piano lessons at our school are designed for beginners who have never studied, for amateurs who once studied and want to remember forgotten skills and improve their level, as well as for professional musicians. We will help you prepare for music school.

Developmental piano lessons for preschoolers
There are also piano lessons for preschoolers, both group and private, where our teachers teach your preschooler in a fun way to develop his or her musical ear, sense of rhythm, singing and acting. Classes on the piano have a powerful influence on the intellectual development of the child, improves his coordination, develops creativity and flexibility of thinking, due to the fact that while playing a musical instrument, both hemispheres work equally intensively, which is uncharacteristic for other activities.
