This guitar is easy to play with chords. Strings on the neck are located farther from each other because of the wide neck, which makes it easier to clamp the individual notes or play on the tabs.
A classical guitar has a thin and small body compared to an acoustic guitar. Because of its construction and nylon strings, a classical guitar sounds soft, gentle and it’s not suitable for rock and roll. And if you play rock and roll, country, rock, pop or jazz, you’ll rather need to choose an acoustic guitar or, as older musicians call it, “Americana”.
Acoustic Guitar
The acoustic guitar (Americana) is a relatively young musical instrument that first appeared in America a hundred years ago. The main difference between an acoustic guitar and a classical guitar is that an acoustic guitar has only metal strings and it sounds deeper, richer and richer. The body of an acoustic guitar is larger and more massive than a classical guitar. The guitar has a narrower neck. It is longer than the neck of a classical guitar and is made of the most durable woods. It is played mostly with solos, or accompaniment with a scale or pickup to make it sound more resonant.
